Spa rituals
Two or three treatments, one unhurried afternoon
Our rituals join our favorite treatments into a single journey: one therapist, one room and no clock-watching, from the first breath of eucalyptus to the last cup of tea.

The ritual difference
Designed as one experience
One therapist throughout
The same therapist guides you from start to finish, so nothing is repeated and every step builds on the last.
Time to spare
Book a ritual and the steam room, garden lounge and tea are yours for an hour before or after.
Better value
Each ritual costs less than booking its treatments separately, and makes a beautiful gift card.
Your therapists
Who will guide your ritual

Marcus Bell
Senior Massage Therapist, LMT · Deep tissue & hot stone
A former athletic trainer, Marcus specializes in deep tissue, sports and hot stone massage. He works with firm, steady pressure and checks in often, so deep never turns painful.

Lucía Ortega
Massage Therapist, LMT · Prenatal & lymphatic
Lucía is certified in prenatal massage and manual lymphatic drainage. Expecting guests, and anyone recovering from travel, swelling or surgery, ask for her by name.

Omar Haddad
Massage Therapist & Reflexologist, LMT
Omar blends deep tissue with reflexology and stretching. Runners, golfers and anyone who spends the day on their feet leave his room noticeably lighter.

Yvonne Baptiste
Spa Director & Lead Massage Therapist, LMT
Yvonne has practiced massage for twenty years, from Miami Beach hotel spas to opening Balm, and created our Botanical Ritual. Her Swedish massage is slow, flowing and famously hard to stay awake through.

Claire Donovan
Lead Esthetician, Licensed Facial Specialist
Claire has spent eleven years treating skin in the Florida sun. She is our go-to for breakouts, pigmentation and sensitive skin, and will send you home with a simple routine, not a shopping list.

Nia Thompson
Licensed Esthetician & Body Treatment Specialist
Nia runs our scrubs and wraps and gives a wonderfully calm facial. Ask her about the Aloe Sun-Relief Wrap after a long day at the beach.
How a ritual flows
An afternoon at Balm
1
Arrive early
Come 30 minutes before your start time for the eucalyptus steam room and a welcome tea.

3
The main treatment
A long massage or facial, tailored on the day to how you feel.
4
Linger
Rest in the garden lounge with fresh fruit, water and tea for as long as you like.
Questions
Spa ritual FAQ
Can I change a step in my ritual?
Yes, within reason. Swap the scrub for a wrap, or Swedish for deep tissue, with your therapist on the day. The price stays the same.
Can two of us book a ritual together?
Yes. Make two bookings at the same start time, one each, and add a note. If you’d like to be in the same room, book a Couples Massage instead.
Is food included?
Fresh fruit, nuts, infused water and herbal teas are always included. For lunch, we’re happy to recommend a café nearby.
Can I buy a ritual as a gift?
Of course. Ask for a ritual gift card at the front desk or by phone, and we’ll mail it or email it the same day.
