Who will look after you

Yvonne Baptiste
Spa Director & Lead Massage Therapist, LMT
Yvonne has practiced massage for twenty years, from Miami Beach hotel spas to opening Balm, and created our Botanical Ritual. Her Swedish massage is slow, flowing and famously hard to stay awake through.

Lucía Ortega
Massage Therapist, LMT · Prenatal & lymphatic
Lucía is certified in prenatal massage and manual lymphatic drainage. Expecting guests, and anyone recovering from travel, swelling or surgery, ask for her by name.

Marcus Bell
Senior Massage Therapist, LMT · Deep tissue & hot stone
A former athletic trainer, Marcus specializes in deep tissue, sports and hot stone massage. He works with firm, steady pressure and checks in often, so deep never turns painful.

Omar Haddad
Massage Therapist & Reflexologist, LMT
Omar blends deep tissue with reflexology and stretching. Runners, golfers and anyone who spends the day on their feet leave his room noticeably lighter.

Your massage
You undress to your comfort level and stay covered with a sheet, except for the area being worked on.
4
Slow return
Take your time getting up, then rest in the garden lounge with water and herbal tea for as long as you like.

Questions
Massage FAQ
How much should I undress?
Whatever feels comfortable. Most guests undress fully or keep their underwear on. You’re always draped with a sheet, and only the area being massaged is uncovered.
Can I ask for a male or female therapist?
Of course. Choose your therapist when you book online, or call us and we’ll match you.
Can I have a massage while pregnant?
Yes, from the second trimester, with our Prenatal Massage. It’s side-lying and fully supported. If your pregnancy is high-risk, please check with your doctor first.
Will I be sore afterward?
After deep tissue work you may feel a little tender for a day, like after a good workout. Drink plenty of water, and try a warm bath that evening.
