Our story
The spa we wished we could find
After years in busy hotel spas, where massages were cut short to fit the schedule, Yvonne Baptiste opened Balm in a 1940s Coconut Grove cottage with two treatment rooms and a simple idea: every guest gets the full time they booked, and nobody is ever rushed out the door.
Word got around. Today six therapists and estheticians work across seven rooms, a eucalyptus steam room and a garden lounge planted with native palms and seagrape, and we still leave fifteen quiet minutes between every guest.
